Q: Do I need to pull permits?

We will pull all necessary permits as required per municipality. If you request no permits then that is up to your discretion.

Q: Do I need to worry about my foundation leaking?

We will evaluate your foundation walls, sump pump and exterior drainage prior to starting work. It’s important you have a sound foundation prior to us starting. We can perform needy repairs if any are found.

Q: Do I need an egress window?

If you are looking to add a bedroom, you must have means of egress. That means you must have an egress window or exterior door that meets code standards.

Q: Is remodeling a basement a good investment?

Q: How long will the process take?

Basements range based off size and scope of work. Most basements take 12-14 weeks though.

Q: Will remodeling my basement make a big mess?

You will see some dust during the drywall phase if you don’t have a walk out, but we do our best to contain dust and keep the area clean as we go.

Q: Can we make changes during the process?

Yes, but we highly recommend you are thorough with the design prior to starting. If materials are ordered already we will need to charge a restocking fee for returning.
